Everyone wants their photos look better, however not everyone with a camera is a photographer. Photoshop is a great product & great product comes with price. Normally, It is hard to justify the money we pay for this piece of software.
There are many excellent open source photo editing software available for free. GIMP & Hugin are my favorites, I use these software for most of my photos. It is a beautiful alternative for Photoshop.
If you are looking for inexpensive photo manipulation software, then GIMP is freely available for you. GIMP is totally fee, covered by the General Public License (GPL).
GIMP has many capabilities, including photo retouching, painting, image creation, image format conversion, etc. It has the capability to expand with external plug-ins & extensions.
Automation is also one of the main features. However, unlike the “Action” in Photoshop, GIMP uses the advanced scripting interface to cover the automation tasks which require some knowledge of scripting.
Go & Download GIMP if you don’t have one. Now, everyone can create better photos, have fun !
